1 MONTH ALERT: Three-Day Dairyland Showdown on Tap For World of Outlaws, May 2-4

FOUNTAIN CITY, WI (April 3, 2024) – The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series’ first trip back to Wisconsin will see a massive three-day event at Mississippi Thunder Speedway, May 2-4.

For the third straight year, The Most Powerful Late Models on The Planet will duel for three nights during the Dairyland Showdown with a $248,000 total Feature purse – tied for the second largest purse this year.

The first two nights will showcase $7,000-to-win Features, while Saturday’s finale will pay $35,000 to the winner.

In eight Series races at the 3/8-mile track, there have been six different winners. Currently, four-time Series champion, and reigning Dairyland Showdown champion, Brandon Sheppard is the only repeat winner at the track.

The event will also be close to home for Series stars and Minnesota natives, Brent Larson (of Lake Elmo, MN) and Dustin Sorensen (Rochester, MN). Sorensen has three national-level wins at the track with the USMTS Modifieds.
