Super DIRTcar Series Adds Georgetown, Selinsgrove to 2025 Schedule – YankeeRacer.com

Super DIRTcar Series Adds Georgetown, Selinsgrove to 2025 Schedule

CONCORD, NC (December 27, 2024) –  The 2025 Super DIRTcar Series schedule continues to grow with two new dates added to next year’s calendar.

The Beasts of the Northeast will visit Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, DE, on Tuesday, May 13 for the Delaware Diamond 75, and make its first trip to Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, PA for the Snyder County Showdown on Wednesday, June 4.

Georgetown returns to the schedule for the first time since 2008 for a 75-lap, $10,075-to-win, event, as part of the track’s 75th anniversary season. It also guarantees one driver a spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at Super DIRT Week 53. The May stop will be the ninth time the Series has raced at the “First State” oval and only the second time since 1988.

Previous Series winners at the 1/2-mile track include Harold Bunting (4), Craig Von Dohren, Bob Toreky, Tom Capie, and H.J. Bunting.

With Delaware added to schedule, the Series will now visit six states and two Canadian provinces in 2025.

Then, the Series’ debut at Selinsgrove will be a 75-lap Feature paying $10,000-to-win and also offers a guaranteed starting spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200.

The addition of the 1/2-mile track completes an epic two-night swing through Pennsylvania, as drivers will first race at Big Diamond Speedway on Tuesday, June 3.

Drivers who’ve won in the “Keystone State” in recent years include Stewart Friesen, Matt Sheppard, and Anthony Perrego, all at Big Diamond.

Fans in Pennsylvania and Delaware will see Mat Williamson aim for his third Super DIRTcar Series championship after holding off 10-time champion Matt Sheppard for the crown in 2024.

Those two drivers will take on Series stars like Anthony Perrego, Jimmy Phelps, Tim Sears Jr., and Alex Payne, and regional standouts like Rick Laubach, SummerFAST champion Alex Yankowski, Louden Reimert, and Ryan Godown.

The Super DIRTcar Series kicks off its 2025 season at Volusia Speedway Park Feb. 12-15 during Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals. For tickets, visit DIRTcarNationals.com.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch every race live on DIRTVision – either at DIRTVision.com or by downloading the DIRTVision App.
