Closing the Book: 2024 Short Track Super Series Night of Champions Set for March 8
VERNON, NY – Closing the book on 2024.
The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco officially wraps up its 2024 campaign on Saturday, March 8 with its annual Night of Champions Awards Banquet.
The night of celebration takes place at The Roselawn Banquet Facility located in New York Mills, N.Y. The Roselawn, after receiving positive reviews last year, hosts STSS competitors for the second consecutive year.
The following competitors from the ’24 season will be recognized:
- Top-12 Ollie’s Modified Overall Championship
- Top-12 River Valley Builders Modified North Region Championship
- Top-12 NJ Quality Drywall Modified South Region Championship
- Top-10 Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. Sportsman North Region Championship
- Top-10 Belmont’s Garage Sportsman South Region Championship

Doors open and Cocktail Hour begins at 4 p.m. Dinner and awards will follow at 5 p.m.
The Roselawn Banquet Facility is located at 446 Main Street New York Mills, NY 13417.
All tickets to the Night of Champions must be purchased by March 1. No tickets will be sold at the door.
The Night of Champions Awards Banquet is held in conjunction with Fonda Speedway (Fonda, N.Y), Utica-Rome Speedway (Vernon, N.Y.), Brookfield Speedway (Brookfield, N.Y.) and the F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series.
The 2025 STSS season goes green Feb. 4-8 with the sixth annual ‘Sunshine Swing’ at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla. An open practice (Feb. 4) followed by four consecutive nights of racing in the Sunshine State for both the STSS Modified and Sportsman contingent.
The Northeast season gets underway March 14-15 with the ‘Speed Showcase’ at Pa.’s Port Royal Speedway. STSS Modifieds and Sportsman plus the popular full-fender Pro Stocks will be in competition at the ‘Speed Palace’ on the Juniata County Fairgrounds.
