Milton CAT Partners with American-Canadian Tour as Title Sponsor in Multi-Year Agreement

Barre, VT & Milford, MA — After several exciting weeks of preparation and anticipation, the American-Canadian Tour and Milton CAT jointly announced today an expanded partnership between the region’s top Late Model touring series and the northeast Caterpillar dealer. This entitlement package has quickly made way for improvement across the board, headlined by a soon-to-be-announced point fund increase for drivers! ACT partner tracks will also get in on the action as Milton CAT makes their presence known to the great New England racing fan base!

Milton CAT is a privately-owned family-run business that started with humble beginnings in a dirt-floor garage in Concord, New Hampshire and now has fourteen locations across New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Milton CAT is the complete source for Caterpillar machines, engines, generators, technology, parts and service here in the northeast.

The American-Canadian Tour was established in 1979 to fulfill the need for an organized Late Model championship series with accountable rules, uniform sanctioning and guaranteed purses, point funds and contingencies. The American-Canadian Tour provides the best international stock car racing for fans on both sides of the US/Canada border.

As part of the title partnership, North America’s most historic Late Model Tour has undergone a complete rebrand and will be known as the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour throughout the length of the agreement. In 2025, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is set for one of its most expansive schedules in recent memory with fourteen point-counting events alongside the non-point Vermont Milk Bowl at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road Speedbowl.

Highlighted by three trips to the Province of Quebec, special big-money showdowns at Seekonk Speedway, Circuit Ste-Croix, White Mountain Motorsports Park and Autodrome Montmagny, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is set to showcase some of the best stock car racing events in the region this summer.

“We are very excited and proud to expand our already solid relationship with Milton CAT,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “Alongside their continued link with the Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will continue to bring our international fanbase some of the best stock car racing in North America this summer and beyond.”

“Our involvement in the Midsummer Classic over the last few years was a great first step to becoming more involved with the American-Canadian Tour” added Milton CAT Director of Marketing Dean Swartz, “so many of our customers and employees expressed their appreciation of our involvement, it just made a lot of sense to do more. We look forward to supporting the great racing of ACT and seeing where we can take the partnership.”

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour championship chase begins in earnest on Sunday, April 13 with the 5th annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Late Models will battle for 50 of the fastest laps of the year on the Magic Mile alongside the Pro All Stars Series, Open Tour-type Modifieds, Sunoco 604 Modifieds, R&R Race Parts Street Stocks and the Evolve Bank Pro Truck Challenge!
