Darling Returns to Pro Stock Victory Lane in Second Triple Crown Race

SEEKONK, Mass. — Sometimes, a late restart can tell the whole story of the finish.

Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway, in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, David Darling took full advantage of the final restart to park in Victory Lane for the first time in 2025 in the Pro Stocks.

Darling was running second when the caution flew in the final three laps. He lined up to the outside of the front row for the restart and rocketed around Nick Lascuola to pick up his first victory of the season. The former champion will now qualify to race for the Triple Crown championship in August in the No. 52.

Lascuola led nearly the entire second half of the race, but had to settle for second in the final rundown after a dominant performance. Defending champion Dylan Estrella, Vinnie Arrenegado, and Mark Jenison finished off the top-five.

Bobby Pelland III was sixth, followed by Rookie of the Year contender Andrew Gomes, Jacob Burns, Daryl Stampfl, and Mike Brightman.

Belcher Breaks Into Late Model Victory Lane
SEEKONK, Mass. — Prior to Saturday night, Chase Belcher had been the most consistent driver in the first two months of Late Model racing at Seekonk Speedway in 2025. All of those strong runs paid off with his first win of the season this time around.

Belcher used the outside lane on the final restart of the race to drive by and take control, then held off the field to win the 30-lap main event to wrap the month of June. It was the first win of the season for the Everett’s Auto Parts driver of the No. 35.

Luke LeBrun, one week after an early wreck, charged through the field to finish a strong second. Former Sport Truck competitor David Lougee, returning after some years away, now in a Late Model, scored his career-best finish in third. Charlie Rose and Richie Murray finished the top-five.

Ryan Kuhn, Mark Jenison, Jacob Burns, Brittany Campbell, and Andrew Gomes finished the top-10.

Radical Rick Martin Wins Sport Truck 40-lap Special
SEEKONK, Mass. — Radical Rick Martin has been racing for 51 years at Seekonk Speedway, and on Saturday night, he captured a victory that will go down in the record books as one of the top in his Sport Truck career.

Martin captured the win in the Seekonk Speedway 80th season Anniversary Series, a special 40-lap race, the longest event of the season for the Sport Trucks.

Martin took the lead early, then held off the field in the second half to capture another Seekonk Speedway win. It was his second of the season for the defending champion.

Dane Saritelli led laps early and finished a strong second-place, his best mark of the season. He was followed by Mike Duarte, recent winner Ethan Heilborn, and Tim Bolger in the top-five.

Mike Cavallaro, Jake Vanada, Tom Scully III, Andrew Rittma,n and Amy Helger finished the top-10.
