Burns Charges Through Late for Pro Stock Win, Triple Crown Title

SEEKONK, Mass. — Jacob Burns took all the marbles on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway.

Burns passed David Darling for the lead inside the final few laps, took the win in the 60-lap Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series contest, and also captured the Everett’s Triple Crown title in the Pro Stocks for this season. It was his third victory of the season in his Rookie of the Year effort.

Darling tried everything to hold him off, but had to settle for second, shortly after passing Mike Brightman for the lead on a restart. Speaking of Brightman, he would score his best finish of the season, in third. Dylan Estrella and Vinnie Arrenegado rounded out the top-five.

Bobby Pelland III, Nick Lascuola, Kenny Spencer, Colbey Fournier, and Mark Jenison finished the top-10.

The Pro Stocks will be back on track on Saturday, August 16, for another main event. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.

Jenison Returns to Late Model Victory Lane, While Belcher Snags Triple Crown

Jenison held on over the second half of the race with Gomes, a sophomore contender, breathing down his neck. At the checkered, Jension won over Gomes and Belcher. Rose finished fourth, with Richie Murray rounding out the top-five in the 45-lap contest.

Martin Wins the Race, Heilborn Grabs Everett’s Triple Crown Title in Trucks

SEEKONK, Mass. — Reigning Sport Truck champion Rick Martin charged through the pack in Saturday’s 35-lap Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series finale, and captured yet another checkered flag in his career. Martin wasn’t one of the Final Four contenders racing for the Triple Crown title, but left little doubt about adding yet another trophy to his historic track resume in the extra-distance event.

The race for second ended up the battle for the Triple Crown title.
