Cody Copeland is the eighth different winner in the DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes
Jason Porter wins the Madness in the Peanut’s Auto Four Cylinders
Feature winners for the “Bullies Suck” awareness night sponsored by Staunch Security at the Ridge: Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Cody Copeland in the DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Seth Carlson in the USAC DMA Midgets, Tyler Tremblay in the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models, Jesse Dunham in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stockers, and Jason Porter overall winner in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders.
Jason Gray scores another win in the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds Coming from the back of the pack taking the lead away from Kyle Ashford who was having his best race ever. Ashford led the 35 lap main event for twenty-five laps, finally having to succumb to Gray on lap twenty-six. Gray went on to take the win over Jordan Fornwalt who came home in second with Richie Simmons coming home in third. Ryan Christian and DJ Robinson rounded out the top five.
Cody Copeland worked his way to the front in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes to grab his first win of the season. Bob Shepard starting third led for a lot of the race before being overtaken by Copeland and Josh Harrington. Harrington crossed the line in second with Shepard holding on to third Tad Kingsbury and Tyler Stygles completed the top five.
The USAC DMA Midgets got off to a scary start when Melvin Pierson made contact with Tim West go for a wild and scary ride in turns three and four. After flipping a counted six times he came to rest upside down, as the safety and track crews got him righted, his exclamations put everyone at ease, indicating he was A-OK. When racing resumed the battle on hand would be from teammates Carlson and Hull as they made their way to the front with Hull taking the lead first. Unfortunately, he would not have enough to hold of teammate Carlson who took the lead on lap thirteen and cruised on for the win. Seth Carlson crossed the line first with Will Hull in second and Joe Krawiec coming home in third. Justin Phillips and Scott Holcomb rounded out the top five.
In the C.A. Miller Limited Late Models Tyler Tremblay gets the win over Nicholas Longley who crossed the line in second with George Osgood coming home in third. Robbie Williams and Mike Santaw crossed the line in fourth and fifth.
In the LaValley’s Building Supply Dirt Stockers a new face comes out on top was Jesse Dunham gets the win over Kaleb Shepard and Lucas Wheeler who finished second and third joining him in victory. Troy Prentice and Mike Stender rounded out the top five.
It was Madness night for the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders and with over five thousand dollars on the line, it took a bit for the full field of cars to get into a rhythm. Once things settled Buddy Welch would be the victor in segment one with Jason Porter crossing in second and Kevin LaForest in third. Segment two Jason Porter would win the battle with Buddy Welch in second and Zach Audet in third. The third segment went to Porter again which also made him the overall winner with Kevin LaForest coming home in second and Buddy Welch in third. The overall top five were recorded as Jason Porter first, Buddy Welch second Kevin LaForest in third. Jach Audet and Bobby Bell were fourth and fifth.
