Brad Keselowski Sets a Track Record and Grabs First Career Pole

Loudon, NH — Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 12 Penske/ AAA Dodge will lead the field from the pole position when the green flag waves for the SYLVANIA 300 on Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Keselowski turned a record lap time of 28.515 seconds at a speed of 133.572 mph. The top-five qualifiers all beat the previous record held by Juan Pablo Montoya who also beat his own record.

“I feel really good about the weekend, we have so much going on this year,” said Brad Keselowski. “It’s a great spark for the team. I’m really more proud for them than I am for myself, going out there getting our first pole and setting a new track record, it’s awesome.”

Clint Bowyer will start from the second spot piloting his No.33 Cheerios/ Hamburger Helper Chevrolet. Bowyer was also super fast in qualifying with a speed of 133.464 at 28.538 seconds.

The third qualifying position goes to Tony Stewart, whose car was fast, right off the truck, leading this morning’s practice session. Stewart turned a lap time of 28.549 seconds at a speed of 133.413 mph.
