Monster Trucks Return to Riverhead Raceway Saturday July 31st Joining Exciting Nascar Stock Car Program

Riverhead, NY July 24th — Not since August 2019 have the car-crushing Monster Trucks of KSR Motorsports wreaked havoc at Riverhead Raceway but that is all about to change this Saturday night July 31st at the eastern Long Island oval when they join the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program. Six divisions of racing will be presented along with the second Vintage All Stars race of 2021.

Fans will marvel as these huge Monster Trucks get after each other in “freestyle” competition not only crushing cars flatter than a pancake but also performing slap wheelies and cyclones. The line-up of KSR Motorsports stars set to invade Riverhead Raceway Saturday include Badnews, Zombie Sniper, Shockwave, and BeAware while the popular ride truck Webslinger gives race fans a once in a lifetime thrill with a ride through the track property for a nominal fee. KSR Motorsports merchandise will also be available for fans to purchase by the ride truck.

The Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modifieds will go to post in a 25-lap feature event as the 2021 championship chase enters the final stretch run of the season. Race number two of the Miller Lite Triple Crown Series is on tap for the Blunderbusts, a 30-lap affair with time trial qualifying. The INEX Legend Race Cars will run a 20-lap main event, their final tune up before their INEX National Qualifier Saturday August 7th at Riverhead. The Street Stocks will be the first division to crown their 2021 Miller Lite Triple Crown Series champion as the full bodied racers run their third and final race of the series with a 30-lapper with qualifying via time trials. The Mini Stocks are back for a 20-lap contest while the Vintage All Stars return for their second race of ’21 with first race winner Tony Ferrante Jr. of New Hyde Park and Don Howe of Water Mill, runner-up expected to renew acquaintances. A Truck Enduro will complete the racing portion of the program.

Qualifying is set for 5:30 pm with spectator gates opening at 4:00 pm. Adults are $30, kids 6-12 $10 with 5 & under free. Tickets are available at the track on race day only. The live stream of the July 31st show starts at 5:15 pm and can be viewed at Riverheadraceway.Tv on a PPV basis.
