Kevin Iannarelli Looks for Seekonk Speedway Success in Haunted Hundred

SHIRLEY, Mass. — Kevin Iannarelli is set for one final ride to wrap the 2021 modified racing season this weekend. After a successful year of running races across multiple New England states with the Modified Racing Series, Iannarelli will attempt to make his second Tri Track Open Modified Series start of the season this Saturday, October 23 at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts.

Iannarelli will compete in the annual Haunted Hundred event — a day that includes three 100-lap races — including the Tri Track 100, the Pro All Star Series Pro Stocks and the American-Canadian Tour Late Models.

Some of the top modified talent from the region will be heading to Seekonk, including the likes of NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champions and race winners, Tri Track regulars and competitors that Iannarelli races against on the Modified Racing Series. His number one goal will be to qualify for the race, as the field is expected to come close to 40 entered cars on race day.

In May, Iannarelli qualified for the Tri Track event at Star Speedway in a competitive field. Overall, the season has been filled with speed, but no winning success to date. Winning with the Tri Track Series would be everything Iannarelli could have imagined, but he’s just hoping for a strong run in the ultra-competitive field.

“Definitely looking forward to getting down to Seekonk to see how we will compare to some of the guys that have been running there consistently over the years,” Iannarelli said. “I haven’t been down there in a few years. We’ve had a year filled with ups and downs, but overall, we’ve been happy with the speed in our car at most of the races. The competition will be tough with Tri Track, so our goal is to make the race and come away with a strong run in our season finale.”

Iannarelli will drive the No. 27, with a strong group of sponsors, crew and supporters behind him. Without sponsorship from iRacing.com, VTANG, Access Realty, Lucas Oil, Justin Belfiore Designs and others, he wouldn’t be able to compete at this level. Access Realty is not just another office — they are a fresh way of conducting real estate business. They work hard to gain each client’s respect and you can be sure they will go the extra mile to help you find the right home, at the right price, in the right market. Visit them online at realty-access.com or give them a call today at 508-331-2269. Iannarelli Racing asks all fans to support those businesses who support the team as much as possible.

Iannarelli works full-time for iRacing.com, where he is the Associate Producer. He is a former winner at Star Speedway, located in Epping, N.H., in their Tour Modified weekly division.

Saturday’s race day schedule at Seekonk includes one practice session for Tri Track teams from 10-10:45 a.m., while qualifying heats will begin at 1 p.m. The Tri Track feature is set to take the green flag around 3:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the track for those who would like to check out the action — with pricing set at $30 for adults, $10 for children ages 6-12 and kids five and under free. Pit passes are $40 on race day.

Iannarelli will be one of many competitors who will take advantage of a Friday practice day. The optional practice will roll from 12-5 p.m. on Friday, and even though the grandstands are not open to the public, fans can purchase a pit pass for just $20 and see the cars and stars of the Modifieds, Late Models and Pro Stocks up close.
