Gilcris Victorious With Broken Rear Shock

7/25/2020 — Groveton, NH- Nick Gilcris got another win on the 2020 season in the Scottie Frazier’s 2 To Go Show Flying Tigers Saturday night at Riverside Speedway and Adventure Park. Gilcris got the lead early and at the 10 lap mark, Rowdy Brad Bushey moved in to challenge for the lead. After a few laps, the handle went away on the Premier Paving Chevrolet of Bushey and he couldn’t mount a run at Gilcris and had to settle for second. Nick got the win in the Elliot Masonry Buick Regal with Jacob Vaughn bringing the 34 in for third.

The EKEYS4CARS Formula Fours had a good battle for the second spot. Point leader Chris Caron got the lead on the 15th lap but the battle was for second between Jarred Blakely in the 28 and Jefferson, NH’s Dan Stinson Sr. in the 53. Stinson looked high and low and made a hard charge on the outside with 2 laps to go but came up just short and had to settle for 3rd.

White Mountain Community College 6&8 cylinder Bone Stocks saw Mike Sherburne pick up another win, with newcomer Randy Fecteau getting back behind the wheel and bringing his #75 home for second and Jason Ball completing the top 3 in his #85.

The Bay Haven Lobster Pound 350 Super Modifieds saw Les Keyser take the win in his # 27. Nette Humphrey ran second until a late caution forced her to the pits with overheating issues. Super Dave Osborne came in second and Mike Keddy got a hard-fought 3rd.

Lil Rascals Dwarf action saw Justin Stacey pick up another win in the Stacey Farms #3 while Richie Turner got his season going in the right direction bringing the #17 home for second spot and Roger Edgecomb finished 3rd in the 1x machine.
