Northeastern Supply Takes Title Sponsorship of Hagerstown ‘Mods in the Mid-Atlantic’
HAGERSTOWN, MD – When the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco kicks off its Northeast racing season at Hagerstown Speedway, Northeastern Supply will be there.
Northeastern Supply serves as title sponsor of the ‘Mods in the Mid-Atlantic’ as the STSS visits the legendary half-mile oval for the first time ever.
The STSS takes over Hagerstown Speedway to kick off the 2023 STSS milestone 10th-anniversary campaign on Saturday, March 11.
Modifieds travel around the Washington County oval for 50 laps in pursuit of the eventual $12,000 top prize, with $1,000 reserved just to take the green flag.
The event serves as the opener to the revamped five-race ‘Elite’ Series along with the Rent Equip/Party Central South Region for the STSS Modifieds.
“Northeastern Supply has been connected with the NASCAR race scene for over 25 years,” Northeastern Supply marketing and creative service manager Jamie Leo said. “We became involved with dirt racing after hearing that we had customers in the race.
“We not only wanted to support our customers but try a new venue to entertain customers. After two years sponsoring a race at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway we were very excited to bring our party to Hagerstown Speedway for the Mods in the Mid-Atlantic Race expanding our events to our other regions!”
STSS organizer and Hagerstown ‘Mods in the Mid-Atlantic’ promoter Brett Deyo looks to expand the partnership with Northeastern Supply.
“We’ve worked with the team at Northeastern Supply for two years at Georgetown (Speedway) and they are great partners,” Deyo said. “We’re looking forward to taking that relationship on the road to Hagerstown.”

The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman will join the program at Hagerstown in Round No. 1 for the Belmont’s Garage South Region.
A $2,000 top prize is up for grabs for the Sportsman at the end of their 25-lap affair.
An Open Practice kicks off the weekend at Hagerstown on Friday, March 10.
