May 31, 2023 — Star Speedway has a full slate of racing scheduled for the Saturday, June 3rd, with the program highlighted by the winged 350 Supermodifieds. The first green flag of the evening is scheduled to drop at 6 pm. The Woody’s Auto Street Stocks will be back on track Saturday as well, joined by the K-COB Slingshots, 2 To Go Show Six Shooters presented by Top Gun Roofing, and the MLM Pure Stocks.

Last time out in 350 Super action, Bobby Timmons took home top honors in the Bob Webber Sr. Memorial. Timmons was the divisions runner up in the final standings last season and looks to be a top championship contender again in 2023. Defending champion Jeffrey Battle was the winner in the season opener for the Supers. They will be racing in the Jen Garland Memorial, a 40-lap special.

The Woody’s Auto Street Stocks saw George Baldwin take home his first Star Speedway win in recent memory when they last were on track. The start of the 2023 season has been the story of the veterans showing the way with Baldwins’ recent triumph, and fellow veteran driver Joey Ventrillo visiting victory lane two times already this season.

Dave Cameron, who won more races than any other Slingshot driver last year, has visited victory lane once in the early season as well.

The 2 To Go Show Six Shooters presented by Top Gun Roofing are back in action and have seen Billy Eastman bounce back after a rough 2022 season, already winning multiple times thru the early stages of 2023. Adam Knowles and Jeremy Hayes have been contenders all year and have a win each to their credit in the early season.
The Pure Stocks will also be in track Saturday. The division has seen a host of different winners thru the first few weeks of the year. Most recently it was Andrew Harmon taking checkers, Billy and Gage Osborne have also claimed wins during the month of May.
