Friday & Saturday Racing Doubleheader Scheduled for Star This Weekend

(June 15, 2023) — Star Speedway is back on track this weekend with two days of racing action scheduled for both Friday and Saturday, June 16 & 17. With the second edition of $5 Friday on tap first, the K-COB Slingshots, Legend Cars, Bandoleros, Mini Cups, Cruisers, Mighty Trucks, Super Troopers, and Junkyard Dogs are all on the schedule along with a Pro V8 Enduro race to end Friday nights program.

On Saturday, Star Speedway weekly racing will be back on track with double features for both the 350 Supers with both the Marco Turcotte and Jen Garland memorial races on the schedule, the Street Stocks will be running both a 30, and a 40 lap feature. Also on Saturday nights schedule are the Six Shooters, Pure Stocks, and NEMA Lights capping off two full nights of excitement.

Friday night’s racing program is set to begin with heat racing at 7 pm, pit gates are scheduled to open up for everyone at 5pm, with the first round of practice starting at 6pm. Pit admission will be $25 for all, with general admission pricing being $5 for all comers above the age of 11 years old. Kids under 11 years old are free of charge.

On Saturday, racing is scheduled to begin at 6pm with the Street Stock make-up feature starting the program off. Pit gates are set to open up at 145pm for Star members, and 215 for non-members, with practice beginning at 315pm, admission will be $30 for members, and $35 for non-members. Grandstands are set to open up at 3pm, with admission being $15 for adults, $12 for Sr/Jr, and military, kids 11 and under will be free.
