Advance Tickets for South Boston Speedway’s 2025 Season Events Now on Sale
SOUTH BOSTON, VA……. Tickets for South Boston Speedway’s 2025 season events are now on sale, making them a good choice for everyone looking to find a special gift for their favorite racing fan.
Advance tickets for South Boston Speedway’s 2025 season events are available for purchase online on the South Boston Speedway website, www.southbostonspeedway.com.
“We are excited to have our advance tickets for the 2025 season on sale in time for the Christmas holiday shopping season,” said South Boston Speedway General Manager Brandon Brown. “South Boston Speedway race tickets make great Christmas gifts for those that are looking for gifts for the race fan in the family or for their favorite race fan. The advance tickets provide a savings over the race-day ticket price, making them great as gifts as well as for those wishing to buy tickets for themselves.”
Advance tickets for the speedway’s regular NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events are priced at $12. Tickets at the gate on race day will be $15.
Advance tickets for the season-opening March 22 SMART Modified Tour King of the Modifieds event, the June 28 Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200, and the track’s annual CARS Tour event on September 13 are priced at $20. Tickets at the gate on race day will be $25 for those events.
Seniors ages 65 and older, military, healthcare workers, and students (with ID) can purchase tickets at the advance ticket price in advance and at the gate on the day of the event.
VIP Suite tickets are priced at $40 each for the speedway’s regular NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events whether purchased in advance or at the gate on race day. The price for VIP Suite tickets for the March 22 SMART Modified Tour King of the Modifieds event, the June 28 Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200, and the CARS Tour event on September 13 is $45 whether purchased in advance or at the gate on race day.
“We saw lots of great racing action, a high level of competition throughout our four NASCAR-sanctioned racing divisions, and close division championship battles this season,” Brown pointed out.
“We are looking for more of that in 2025 and are excited about the three special events we have on our schedule next season. It will be a season fans will not want to miss.”
South Boston Speedway’s four NASCAR-sanctioned racing divisions, the Late Model Stock Car Division, the Limited Sportsman Division, the Pure Stock Division, and the Hornets Division, will all return to action at the .4-mile oval in 2025.
South Boston Speedway’s 2025 schedule includes 12 event dates, with the track kicking off its season on Saturday, March 22 with the first of its three special events, the SMART Modified Tour King of the Modifieds event. That event will feature the stars and the high-horsepower open-wheel cars of the SMART Modified Tour in a 125-lap race. Twin races for the NASCAR Late Model Stock Car Division are also set as part of that event. Additional details surrounding that event will be announced later. The event will have a 2 p.m. start time.
All four of South Boston Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned racing divisions are included in the 10 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events that follow.
Both of South Boston Speedway’s two NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events in the month of April will have 2 p.m. start times and will feature the track’s four NASCAR racing divisions. The first of those on Saturday, April 12 will feature twin-75-lap Late Model Stock Car Division races and the Kenny Meadows Memorial Limited Sportsman Feature which will go for 75 laps.
Races for the Pure Stock and Hornets divisions will also be part of the event. The Saturday, April 26 event will feature a full slate of races for the track’s four racing divisions.
South Boston Speedway’s first night race of the season is scheduled for Saturday night, May 10, with a 7 p.m. starting time. The track’s schedule for the month of May also includes an event on May 24.
The rest of the track’s schedule of NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events includes events on June 7, June 28, July 26, August 9, August 23. and September 6. The June 28 event, the Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200, one of the track’s three special events of the season, features a 200-lap Late Model Stock Car Division race that will be the kickoff race for the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown. A festive and colorful Fourth of July fireworks display will follow the last race of the night.
South Boston Speedway’s 2025 season concludes with the track’s final special event of the season on Saturday, September 13 featuring the stars and cars of the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model series.
