Another race night with more questionable weather looked like it could be the story at Star Speedway Saturday night. However, once again, Mother Nature had to take a back seat, as the staff, fans, and competitors came out on top with six divisions of racing action taking to the banks of Star Speedway. When the final checkers of the evening flew, six drivers were able to add a checkmark into their respective win columns in the early stages of the 2025 racing season.
In 350 Supermodified action, defending Star Speedway track champion Jeffrey Battle Jr. topped the competition in the division’s 40 lap main event. Winner of the previous two events, Bobby Timmons, had another strong run for himself taking home second, with Mike Netishen rounding off the podium in third.
Charlie Baldwin rocketed his way to victory lane in the Woody’s Auto Street Stock main event over a strong field of cars. Second place went to veteran Joey Ventrillo, with Billy Clement Jr. rounding out the podium in the third spot.
For the second week in a row, Jaxson Filippone snagged the win in the Bumpy’s Auto Slingshot feature event. Defending track champion Gage Osborne took home the runner-up spot, with Cody Boucher rounding out the top three finishing positions.
Adam Knowles topped all comers in the Six Shooter main event Saturday night, making a return trip to Star victory lane. The second spot went to Jeremiah Sergeant, with Steve Miller Jr. taking home the third position when checkers flew.
In MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stock action it was Ben Krauter taking down his first Star Speedway win of the 2025 season. Chris Quin took home the runner up spot, with Riley Martin rounding off the podium in the third position.
In Crown Vic Cruiser competition, it was once again Andrew Harmon across the line first at features end, adding another win to his 2025 resume. Jake Michaud took home the second position, with Trevor Michaud coming home in the third spot.
On Sunday, Garrett Hall won the Pro All Star Series event, while Jeffrey Battle won in the New England Supermodifieds. In the PASS Modifieds, it was Zach Bowie on top, and in the special Slingshot/Mad Bomber race, it was Brian Caswell capturing the victory.
Star Speedway will be back in action this Saturday, June 21 for more racing.
