Legion Speedway Opens with Test and Tune This Sunday
WENTWORTH, NH – Legion Speedway will open its 2012 racing season with a Test and Tune session on this Sunday May 20. Gates open at 2:00 pm and on-track practice runs from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Any safe race car is welcome to participate in addition to the classes that will be competing throughout the season at Legion Speedway: the Forward’s Garage Modifieds, the Papa Z’s Mini Sprints, the Beard Sewer and Drain Sprint Cars of New England, the Street Stocks and the Outlaw Mini Stocks.
Weekly racing programs throughout the summer at Legion Speedway will be sponsored by S.K. Bean’s Enfield Garage, Al Crossman Trucking and Eastman's Trophies; Eastman's Automotive and Vision Signworks; Ryezak Petroleum; Route 118 Automotive; Neal Davis Model Race Cars; Ed Tobin Car Crushing; Gary's Property Maintenance and Ames Auto & Outdoor Equipment.
Grandstand admission is free for the Test and Tune session. Pit fees are just $20 for the car and driver and $10 for each for additional crew member. The weather forecast is ideal, so come on out and join your racing friends and neighbors on Sunday at Legion Speedway on Route 25 at the Rumney/Wentworth line.
