Sprint Racing Experience Highlights Sunday’s SYLVANIA 300 “Chase” Kick-Off Party
Fans will have the opportunity to personally experience the thrill of NASCAR racing this Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s “Chase” Kick-Off Party.
Kicking off SYLVANIA 300 Week activities, the Sprint Racing Experience will be at the speedway to demonstrate the incredible speed and awesome power of a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car. Fans can get behind the wheel of this intense, full-motion simulator and feel what it is like to race against the likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, and Kyle Busch.
The “Chase” Kick-Off Party will also feature autograph sessions with Matt Kobyluck, driver of the No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet and the current points leader of the NASCAR Camping World Series East, and Mike Olsen, driver of the No. 61 Fadden Racing Chevrolet and the 2001 & 2006 Champion of the NASCAR Camping World Series East. Matt’s No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet will be on display for pictures and to give fans a chance to view one of the hottest cars in NASCAR.
Celebrities from WGIR/Rock 101 and WHEB, the home of “Greg and The Morning Buzz” will be broadcasting live from Party Central. The Official Radio Partner of the speedway will be giving away station and NASCAR merchandise.
Camping World, Heluva Good!, and Coca-Cola will join the festivities with exciting displays and giveaways throughout the day.
As an added bonus, the Ticket Office and Speedway World souvenir store will be open for those last minute ticket and souvenir needs before the big SYLVANIA 300 weekend. Fans purchasing tickets to the SYLVANIA 300 will be eligible to win a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu or one of 20-$300 Hannaford Supermarket Gift Cards.
“This is an excellent opportunity for fan interaction as we kickoff race week activities,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. “The excitement is building as we host the first race in the ‘Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.’ It’s NASCAR’s version of the playoffs, and we’re fortunate to have round one right here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.”
