DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour returns to Caraway Speedway on Saturday, April 20. Below is a statistical look at the recent performance of the tour and selected drivers at Caraway, as well as some other statistical trends:

Caraway Race Setup

• George Brunnhoelzl III is in a familiar position, leading the championship standings. The three-time and defending champion has a 12-point lead after three events.

• Jason Myers scored his first Caraway win in the season opener in March and has logged a tour-best 6,183 laps at the North Carolina oval.

• Brunnhoelzl and Brian Loftin each have eight tour-career Caraway wins.

• Andy Seuss has six Caraway victories to his credit and leads active drivers with 1,013 laps led.
NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour At Caraway Speedway

• The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour has made 44 visits to Caraway Speedway, including this year’s season opener on March 16.

• Caraway Speedway is a .455-mile oval near Asheboro, N.C., that boasts 13 degrees of banking in the corners with nine degrees of banking on the straightaways.

• The 44 tour events have resulted in 11 different winners. George Brunnhoelzl III and Brian Loftin are tied for the most wins at Caraway, with eight each.

• There have been seven different Coors Light Pole Award winners at Caraway. Burt Myers tops the list, setting the fast mark on 12 occasions.

• L.W. Miller has led the most laps of tour competition at Caraway, pacing the pack for 1,048 circuits.

• Brian Loftin has the most top-five finishes in the tour at Caraway, with 24.

• Jason Myers has the most tour top-10 finishes at Caraway, with 33. His brother, Burt, is second on the list with 31.
