Giovanni Giarrantana Wins Inaugural Waddell Communications Legend 25 at Stafford Speedway
Stafford Springs, CT — 16 Legend cars took the green flag for the Inaugural Waddell Communications Legend 25.
#10 Joey Ternullo and #82 Mike Christopher, Jr. brought the field to green flag with Ternullo taking the early lead before being involved in an accident at halfway point of the race. Tom Gray and Giovanni Giarrantana were working their way up through the field with Gray taking over the lead at lap-12.
Gray, Giarrantana, and Christopher, Jr. were fighting it out for the lead with Daniel Stolte and George Whitney chasing them down. In the end, it was Giarrantana taking down the win with Gray a very close second. Christopher finished third, with Whitney and Stolte rounding out the top-5.
