Penalty Issued from September 29th CARQUEST Fall Final NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Program at Stafford Motor Speedway
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has issued the following penalty following the running of the September 29 CARQUEST Fall Final NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.
Tom Fearn, driver of the No. 92 Late Model, has been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Sunday at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Fearn has been penalized from his second place finish in the 30-lap Late Model feature and placed to last (21st) and fined 10 points for violating rule 20E-10.6 Rear Axle (Rear Axle did not meet the maximum 13″ measurement from the vertical centerline of the rear axle to the centerline of the forward mounting point) of the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model rulebook.
The violation was discovered in post-race inspection following the Late Model feature on Friday, September 29.
