Sunoco World Series Broadcast Today on Fox Sports 1
The Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing will be televised on Fox Sports 1 today at 12 PM ET. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour ended their season with the annual event at Thompson Speedway on October 20.
Bobby Santos, III was the Coors Light Pole winner, clinching the award for the season. Rowan Pennink scored his first win of the season to end a winless drought back to Riverhead in 2010. Ryan Preece used a solid third place effort to claim his first career WMT title. At age 22, Preece set the record for the youngest champion in series history.
