Leeck Looks to Keep Championship Momentum at Springport
Huntersville, NC (September 17, 2014) – Current JEGS/CRA Championship points leader Dan Leeck has maintained a great level of consistency over the course of the season. With only three finishes outside the top-five, Leeck sits atop the standings, 52 points ahead of second place driver Josh Nelms.
With just three races remaining in the season, Leeck takes his Mr. Asphalt Chevrolet team to Springport (MI) Motor Speedway this weekend to compete in the Michigan Cup 100 Presented by JEGS.com. Looking for their first win of the season, Leeck will go door-to-door with the likes of ARCA star JJ Haley and 2011 Redbud 300 winner Steve Dorer.
“It’s been a great season so far,” Leeck said. “Our team has worked hard to keep us prepared for each race. I’m looking forward to going for a win this weekend.”
