Former New England Racing Journalist Todd Drew Passes At Age 41
Todd Drew, a former New England auto racing journalist and editor has passed at age 41.
A part of the Eastern racing scene for years, the popular Drew held many media-related positions during his involvement in the sport.
A native of Syracuse, N.Y., he was a contributing writer to many racing publications including Trackside Magazine, Gator Racing News, and served as a columnist and editor for New England Speedway Scene. Additionally, he was the former Media Coordinator for the NASCAR Modified Tour, and worked for Dale Earnhardt Incorporated at one time.
“As a fellow media member, Todd was the consummate professional, but I’ll miss his friendship the most,” stated New England Auto Racing Hall Of Fame journalist Pete Zanardi upon being informed of the news.
Most recently, Drew had been employed by the American Civil Liberties Union in New York City.
He is survived by his wife Marsha as well as many family members.
