Wildermuth Joins YankeeRacer Team
We are proud to announce the latest addition to YankeeRacer.com. Wayne Wildermuth will be writing a column for us. Spotter Bites will provide information on races from his perspective.
‘Muffy’ has been involved in racing throughout his life. His father Stan raced at New London-Waterford (CT) Speedbowl. He has worked on crews for more than three decades. During the races, he is often found in the spotter’s stand providing the necessary insight for a driver. He has worked with a number of drivers including Ted Christopher, ‘Leadfoot’ Larry Barnett, Chase Dowling, Matt Hirschman, Cam McDermott, Todd Szegedy, and Max Zachem.
“Happy to be a part of the YankeeRacer.com team,” Wildermuth said. “I look forward to writing articles that provide insight into the life of a spotter, showing what we go through throughout a season.”
The New London, CT resident attends many races annually. He owns Liberty Hill Home Inspections, whose decal often adorns local cars.
