Millstadt, IL – POWRi is scheduled to visit Macon Speedway on Saturday, October 3rd after the event scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd was rained out. Known for its close quarters, high banks, and spectacular slide jobs, Saturday’s event at Macon is sure to excite, and will be one fans will not want to miss. Previous POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series winners at Macon Speedway in 2015 competition include Christopher Bell during Illinois SPEED Week, and Andrew Felker who doubled-down and took both nights of the POWRi Freedom Fest. Previous POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series winners at Macon Speedway in 2015 include Matt Howard with a career-first victory during Illinois SPEED Week, and defending champion Nathan Benson, who also doubled-down and claimed both nights of the POWRi Freedom Fest.

In POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series point standings, Darren Hagen continues to hold a sizeable lead, edging closer to becoming the 2015 champion. Andrew Felker holds the second position, while Austin Brown sits in third. Kyle Schuett, the leading candidate for POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series Rookie of the Year rides in fourth, while Spencer Bayston rounds out the top five.

In POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series point standings, Nathan Benson stretched his point lead to a 190 point cushion over Ayrton Gennettan after his latest victory, coming at Jacksonville Speedway for the Herb Barlow Memorial. Aaron Andruskevitch currently sits in third, while Joe B. Miller holds fourth. Chris Cochran rounds out the top five.
