Jackson Motorplex Welcomes AGCO Corporation as Title Sponsor for 38th Annual Jackson Nationals

Jackson, MN (November 13, 2015) – Jackson Motorplex is pleased to announce that AGCO Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, with a factory located in Jackson, Minnesota, will serve as the title sponsor of the 38th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals.  The event, held at the Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, has been expanded to three days, Friday through Sunday, September 2-4.  In addition to the Jackson Nationals, the Jackson Motorplex will host weekly racing on both Friday and Saturday nights in 2016!

AGCO Corporation was heavily involved in the Jackson Motorplex in 2015 as well, providing agricultural equipment to the facility to help in track preparation.  AGCO’s involvement in 2016 will be even greater with their involvement in one of the biggest weekends in sprint car racing at next year’s AGCO Jackson Nationals.

“First, we would like to thank AGCO for their involvement with the Jackson Motorplex last year,” says Tod Quiring of Jackson Motorplex.  “The Challenger and Massey Ferguson Tractors that we used to reshape and work the track were exceptional.  We could not have made the progress with the dirt track last year without the quality machines provided by AGCO.  We look forward to making even more progress next year and make the racing even better in 2016.”

“AGCO’s facility is world class and we are fortunate to have such a solid organization located in Jackson, Minnesota’s,” continues Quiring.  “They have invested a great deal into the Jackson community, really benefiting a wide area in Southwest Minnesota and Northwest Iowa.  We are thrilled to announce them as the title sponsor of the 2016 Jackson Nationals and look forward to building a long-term relationship with them at the Jackson Motorplex.”

Jackson Motorplex General Manger, Doug Johnson, adds, “The Jackson Nationals were extremely successful last year, paying the winner $25,000 with a huge payout all the way through the field,” he says.  “With partners like AGCO, next year’s Nationals will be even better and will look to have an even bigger car count for both the 360’s and 410’s.  We will share more details on this throughout the year.”

On Friday and Saturday of the Jackson Nationals, AGCO will provide public tours of their world-class tractor assembly plant and a meet and greet with your favorite sprint car drivers at the Intivity Center.  Several tractors, sprayers, and sprint cars will be on display.  The plant and Intivity center is located just North of the Jackson Motorplex and will have transportation provided between the track and AGCO facility.  More details will be provided as we get closer to the event.

“AGCO is proud to partner with the Jackson Motorplex and to support their continued growth,” says Jay Mulso, Visitors Service Manager at Intivity Center.  “The events held at the Motorplex bring significant value to our community and the surrounding communities.  AGCO employees have a great sense of pride in their work and this partnership allows us to share that with everyone. It gives us the unique opportunity to open our doors to the community, too.”
