LFR Chassis to Sponsor Southern National Motorsports Park Debut Pro Late Model Series

Company to Award Series Champion with LFR Chassis

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (January 18, 2016) – Always looking to take racing to the next level, LFR Chassis is pleased to announce it will be sponsoring Southern National Motorsports Park’s debut Pro Late Model series this year. The champion of the six to seven race series will be awarded an LFR Chassis Late Model.

“Mike really has a great thing going on here,” said Rob Fuller, president of LFR Chassis. “I believe it is important in our industry to help support anyone who puts an interest in providing a great environment for racers to showcase their talents, and I am glad to play a role on any level in supporting them. LFR Chassis has had a great amount of success in the past year, and it’s exciting to be able to offer a piece of that success to a deserving team.”

The Southern National Motorsports Park, which was reopened by Michael Diaz and Jerry Brown in February 2012, has been a popular track amongst racers across the country. With the creation of the track’s new series, Diaz found the opportunity to partner with LFR Chassis too great to pass up.

“I’ve wanted to put together a Pro Late Model Series for a while now,” said Michael Diaz, track owner. “I did one in 2012 while partnering with some businesses and it was a decent series. But I wanted to bring a series back to the Southern National Motorsports Park and make it unique to there. Bringing LFR Chassis on really solidifies the series and legitimacy of the program. Everyone knows Rob Fuller and LFR Chassis and their standard of work. Plus, having a free chassis from them as the champion’s prize is so unique. Beats any trophy we can think of!”

Fuller is also a representative for Draco Springs, the largest custom spring manufacturer in the world. His association with the manufacturer has also led to the creation of the Draco Hard Charger, or the Spring Forward Award that will be presented to one driver at each race.

“DRACO has been providing this package at many different levels of short track racing across the country, and this is just another opportunity to step up and provide the highest quality spring to a racer that earns it,” explained Fuller. “The Spring Forward award fits on so many levels as far as supporting racers, that it was something I feel is a perfect fit to help Mike jump-start his program.”

LFR Chassis, founded in 2014 by Rob Fuller, manufactures cutting edge racecar chassis that are user-friendly and provides high-end components and customer service to the top-tier modified and late model race teams across the nation. Daily operations are overseen by former NASCAR crew chief Tony Eury Jr. with Jeff Fultz leading the Late Model division and Ryan Stone leading the modified division.
