NEW EGYPT, NJ – One of the most anticipated events of the New Jersey racing season – the annual ‘Dirty Jersey’ midweek special at New Egypt Speedway – takes on a new partner for 2015.

Lentini Auto Salvage of Ringoes, N.J., has signed on as the headline marketing partner for ‘Dirty Jersey 3’ at the pristine New Egypt facility on Thursday, June 11 (rain date: June 15). The Lentini Auto Salvage ‘Dirty Jersey 3’ event, a BD Motorsports Media LLC promotion, is topped by the Short Track Super Series Fueled By Hi-Tek big-block/small-block Modifieds, competing for Pioneer Pole Buildings Inc. South Region points. The Modified event, 40 laps in distance, will offer a mammoth $10,000 to win.

The 360 Sprint Cars of the reborn United Racing Club (URC) will compete in the ‘Turnpike 25’ special offering $3,000 to the winner. Competitors from the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) have an invite to participate in the event, as well, and ESS will offer a co-sanction for the special event. Rules provisions will be in place for 358 Sprint Cars as they were a year ago.

Crate 602 Sportsman will be included in the ‘Dirty Jersey 3’ with a unique, fast-paced format. The division’s warm-ups will be timed. The top-18 quickest cars from hot laps will transfer into the main event. All remaining starting positions in the feature event will be determined by a B-Main, lined up by time. The main event for the Crate 602 Sportsman will be 20 laps.
