Formula Race Promotions & ScreeningNow Ink a Production Distribution Deal to Produce New Race Show

Formula Race Promotions (www.formularacepromotions.com) and ScreeningNow (www.screeningnow.com) have inked a production distribution deal to cover the 2017 season opening at the 17-turn three-mile course at Virginia International Raceway from April 29-30where drivers will face off in the F1600, F2000, and Atlantic Championship Series.

Sidewayz Films (www.sidewayz.com) was brought on board due to its years of experience in producing award-winning action sports films. Film crews will be completely engulfed with the behind the scenes turmoil of the drivers and the teams in the paddock, the pits and in the driver’s seat, capturing the human element both on and off the racetrack.

This fast paced yet concentrated sports story with intense focus on drawn out human emotions of race day is a familiar style for Sidewayz films. All of this, combined with the cinematic person-to-person-experience will be a refreshing and welcome new format for busy fans.

“We will be following the drivers and their racing teams as new rookies get their first chance behind the wheel and aspiring high profile drivers look for success against a field of proven veterans. On the first race day of a new season, a leader can pop right out of the pack and lead for the season: for example, last year’s winner of the F1600 Series, Neil Verhagen, has ascended to Red Bull’s driver development program for Formula 1 in Europe and Atlantic Champion Ryan Norman likewise to Indy Lights with Andretti Autosport so FRP is open to any taker this year,” noted Al Guibord and Robert Wright who founded FRP in Salem, New Hampshire 12 years ago.

Though ScreeningNow isn’t streaming live sports racing like some internet services, it is finding a way into sports with the in-depth behind-the-scenes race series. Formula Race Promotions will be the opening Sports Film featured for ScreeningNow.

ScreeningNow is actively seeking and responding to new sponsors and distribution outlets for this refreshing new race format, which is sure to bring many fans to the sport.
