Defending Champ Gardner Takes CRA Opener at Canyon
Peoria AZ……..Defending USAC AMSOIL CRA Sprint Car Champion Damion Gardner of Concord, Calif. piloted the Mark Alexander entry to victory in Friday night’s 30-lap “Spring Showcase” series opener at Canyon Speedway Park. He led the final 22 laps after passing Jake Swanson on lap nine. Swanson finished second ahead of USAC Southwest Sprint Car Champ R.J. Johnson, Brody Roa and fast qualifier Chad Boespflug. The series returns to Canyon for Saturday night’s events.
