PPM Completes Lamborghini Super Trofeo Lineup with Murcott and Liddy at Mid-Ohio
China Grove, N.C. (April 30, 2018) – Dylan Murcott will pilot the No. 47 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo for Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) in the team’s series debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, May 5th. Murcott will share driving duties with Patrick Liddy and will compete for Pro-Am honors.
Murcott is the 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS Champion and former Lamborghini Super Trofeo Gallardo Pro-Am champion. “I am very grateful to get back behind the wheel for this week’s upcoming races at Mid-Ohio”, said Murcott. “It’s certainly been a long off season, but I’m ready to get back to it. I am very excited to join Precision Performance Motorsports team as I know they provide great cars and a very professional crew at the race track. I’ve heard my teammate, Patrick Liddy, has had some great success in Radicals, so I’m sure we’re going to make a great driver pairing. Looking forward towards the race weekend!”
Liddy’s racing experience ranges from karts, Spec Miatas, Lotus Cup cars, and currently has experienced great success in Radicals. Mid-Ohio will be his first experience in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series. “I am very excited to be making the transition from prototype racing to Lamborghini Super Trofeo with the skilled support of Precision Performance Motorsports Team along with a great co-driver in Dylan Murcott” said Patrick Liddy. “I know our team will be very competitive heading into the season opener next weekend at Mid-Ohio Raceway and look forward to putting on a good showing!”

Catch The Action… The series competitors will enjoy two 50-minute races at Mid-Ohio. Race 1 is scheduled to start at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, May 5th. Race 2 will start at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, May 6th. Two practices will take place Friday May 4th at 8:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., followed by a double qualifying session Saturday morning at 9:55 a.m. All times are Eastern Standard.
