Annual Norwood Arena/New England Dragway South Reunions set for Thursday, June 12, 2018
Raynham, MA. The Annual Norwood Arena/New England Dragway South Reunions will take place at a new location in 2018. The event is set for Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Raynham Park, (Rt. 138) 1958 Broadway in Raynham, MA 02767 starting at 4 p.m. until dusk. In the event of rain, it will be held on Thursday, June 28. The show is being held in concert with a usual Thursday night cruise presented by the Wheels of Time Car Club of Brockton, MA.
Trophies will be presented for the top three oval track race cars and drag racing cars. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 race vehicles that arrive. Vendors offering motorsports collectibles are welcome Fans should bring their scrapbooks and photos for viewing by fans and attendees. They will meet and greet competitors from one of the greatest venues in the Northeast. They will also see both vintage and contemporary oval track and drag racing machines in addition to Land Speed Record vehicles, motorcycles, classic cars, hot rods, customs and specialty vehicles.
There’s also lots of room for ramp trucks, race car trailers, semis and other conveyances in the huge parking lot.
DJ Dominic of Blue Moon Productions will be on hand to play 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music to entertain the attendees. The Hot Rod Cafe is on site and offers fun foods and soft drinks at reasonable prices.
