Big Blocks Join Tony Stewart and All-Star Sprints on Sunday

The Big Block Mods Will Contend on Sunday for 40-laps and $2,500 to win!

WEEDSPORT, NY (June 6, 2018) – The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds will join Tony Stewart and the Arctic Cat All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars at Weedsport Speedway this Sunday, June 10 for a 40-lap, $2,500 to win special.

Sunday’s 40-lapper will mark the third Big Block Modified race at Weedsport in as many events this season.

Matt Sheppard and Stewart Friesen pocketed the first two Big Block events at The Port in 2018 with fellow hot shoes Jimmy Phelps, Max McLaughlin, Erick Rudolph and Chris Hile hot on their heels.

Another star-studded field is expected to be on hand this Sunday in what will be Weedsport’s last Big Block show until the Saturday, July 28 Super DIRTcar Series Hall of Fame 100.

Pit gates will open on June 10 at 3 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Racing will take the green flag at 6 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of the event through www.weedsportspeedway.com or at the Speedway.

Reserved tickets are $29, general admission seating is $25 for adults with kids 11-17 just $10 and kids 10 and under, free.

Pit admission will be $30 for members and $35 for non-members.

In just over one week the USAC National Sprint Car tour will make its highly anticipated first visit to The Port for their Thunder on the Erie special on Tuesday, June 19 at 7 p.m.
