SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ – APRIL 20, 2019… Regaining the lead from Jake Swanson on lap 29, Logan Seavey (Sutter, CA) topped the “4th Annual Lealand McSpadden Classic” at Arizona Speedway. Piloting Andy Reinbold & Todd Underwood’s #19 AME Electrical / Ross Equipment Rentals Spike, Seavey earned the first Sands Chevrolet USAC SouthWest Sprint Car win of his career over Swanson, Austin Williams, R.J. Johnson, and Stevie Sussex. Swanson claimed the night’s Saldana Racing Products Hard Charger Award / Best Passing Job honors with seventeenth to second place run. Seavey also earned the night’s Beaver Strips Fast Time Award over the 17-car field by posting a new track record of 14.714. The ten-lap heat race victories went to Bruce St. James (Brown & Miller Racing Solutions First Heat) and “Chargin” Charles Davis Jr. (Competition Suspension Incorporated / Ultra Shield Race Products Second Heat). Next Saturday, April 27th, the USAC SouthWest Sprint Cars will headline the “State 48 Classic” at Canyon Speedway Park.
