All Stars set for Ohio Doubleheader on April 26 & 27

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (April 24, 2019) – Although forced to wait an extra week due to Mother Nature, Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will continue their 2019 campaign with a full weekend of action in the Buckeye State, set to invade two, very familiar ovals for back-to-back $5,000 top prizes on Friday and Saturday, April 26 & 27.

Certainly a tough month for the traveling All Stars, the Attica and Wayne County visits will conclude an April calendar that commenced with seven nights of competition, but over time, the schedule was involuntarily condensed to four with wet weather being the culprit.

Originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 19 & 20, but later shifted due to the aforementioned weather conditions, Attica Raceway Park’s 30th annual Core & Main Spring Nationals will kick off the upcoming weekend with action on Friday night, April 26.

The home of ‘Ohio’s Finest Racing’ is certainly a staple on the All Star Circuit of Champions campaign trail, hosting ‘America’s Series’ on 121 separate occasions between 1989 and 2018. Six-time All Star champion and all-time Series win leader, Dale Blaney – who is back on the road full-time in 2019 – is the leading winner at Attica during All Star competition with 18 victories.

Dubbed ‘Orrville’s Historic Oval,’ Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, will host Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday evening, April 27. Growing a rich, competitive All Star tradition much like Attica Raceway Park, Saturday’s Wayne County visit will be the first of five in 2019 for the All Star Circuit of Champions, two of which taking shape during the annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek schedule.

Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, will open pit gates at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Racing is set to hit center stage at 7:45 p.m., sharp. Those seeking additional information such as reserved seating and other ticket pricing should visit Attica live on the Web at www.atticaracewaypark.com.

Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, will open pit gates at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Racing is set to follow at 7 p.m. Those seeking additional information should visit Wayne County Speedway online at www.waynecountyspeedway.com.
