Bellm Back in Action at Lake Ozark Speedway Spring Nationals this Weekend

NIXA, Mo. (May 24, 2019) – After a pair of idle weekends, Kyle Bellm is ready to get back in action at this weekend’s Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour-sanctioned Lake Ozark Speedway Spring 360 Nationals in Eldon, Missouri on Saturday and Sunday.

Bellm will join forces with the Smith Racing No. 86 team for the weekend.  It’s a combination that has been formidable in the past with several trips to victory lane.

“It has been a couple of years since we’ve raced together, but it shouldn’t be much of a transition,” Bellm explains.  “They have good equipment and it’s a track that I usually do well at, so we can have a really good weekend.”

It will be Bellm’s first action since the first weekend of May when he rallied from 17th to finish seventh in ASCS Warrior Region competition at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on May 4 and then posted a runner-up finish at Double X Speedway the following night.

“With another five laps at Lucas Oil Speedway, I think we could have got up to about third, we had a really good car,” Bellm said of the No. 14k entry.  “We had a shot at winning at Double X, then a lapped car spun and I had to check up and that let the leader get away.”

With top-ten showings the last three times out, Bellm looks to carry that momentum into this weekend aboard the Smith Racing No. 86.

The Kyle Bellm Racing efforts are made possible with support from marketing partners including Greenworks Nursery, Landscapes Awarded, Christian County Collision Repair, Bybee Lawn Care, PPG Automotive Finishes, Colorvision, Schure Built Suspensions, Schaeffers Racing Oil and Park West Retirement Living.

Quick Stats:  8 Races, 1 top-five, 3 top-tens.
