Tonight, Saturday, March 21, on episode 2 of Thunder Relived, we look back on the 1987 USAC National Sprint Car event at Santa Fe Speedway in Hinsdale, Ill.
It was the first-ever dirt USAC Sprint Car race aired live on the Thursday Night Thunder program, and features a legendary driver and car owner taking the checkered flag for the first time with the series in one of the closest finishes in series history.
