Brian has been married to his wife Sandy for 11 years and has two kids, Rachel (9) and Taylor (7). He is the Vice President of Goss Dodge.
2009 Season: Brian returned to full time ACT Late Model Tour competition in 2009 after spending several years competing on other series. During the 2009 season he captured his sixth career ACT Tour championship and his first with car owner and crew chief Rick Paya. On his way to the title, Brian picked up two feature wins to bring his career wins total to 25, the most by any driver in ACT Late Model Tour history.

…favorite racing memory is winning at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in July of 2009, “because it was the first time my kids got a chance to see me win and come down to victory lane. I had a lot of friends and family there and it was my first win in awhile.”

…favorite sport/team is any kind of auto racing. Rally cars, stock cars, open wheels, anything.

…most admired racers are ACT drivers Jean-Paul Cyr, Robbie Crouch, Beaver and Bobby Dragon. Also Mike Stefanik.
…first race was an Enduro at Airborne Speedway in 1990. He also drove his father’s Tiger car at Airborne in a race later that year.
If Brian had to put anybody in his racecar it would be Jean-Paul Cyr. “He is a close friend and he has obviously proven he can win in the same car.”
2010 Plans: Hoar and Paya have agreed to run the ACT Tour again in 2010 and attempt to defend their title.
