Since then, his #47 team has struggled with handling issues on their car after a mid-season. Usually, that has led to struggles on the racetrack. But not on this past Saturday night. That is when Jordan broke through his slump to win his fifth Waterford feature of the season.

Waterford, CT — As a race season moves along, a race team’s objectives for the season can evolve. At the beginning of the 2007 season, Tim Jordan and his #47 team set out to defend their Late Model championship at Waterford Speedbowl (CT). They were on their way to contending for the title after winning three straight races, but a string of bad luck dropped them back in the race slightly. At that point, Jordan attempted to gain more touring experience by towing to races at Oxford Plains Speedway (ME) and Seekonk Speedway (MA).
Now, with just a few races to go before the racing season is up, Jordan is working to just make his racecar better. The set-up of the #47 has been hard to fine tune since a mid-season wreck, but the Jordan Racing team is getting closer to figuring it out as evidenced by a third-place finish in last Saturday night’s race.
