Daytona Beach, FL — After a fellow competitor protested his victory at Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway Friday night, Keith Rocco had to wait until Monday to find out whether the win held up. It did, and Tuesday Rocco found himself atop the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national standings. By one point.
The 23-year-old Wallingford, Conn., driver has four wins and 13 top fives in 18 races at a trio of Connecticut short tracks – Stafford, Thompson International Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl. Rocco’s 686 points give him an edge over Coleman Pressley of Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina. Pressley has seven wins and 15 top fives in 16 starts.

Connecticut Native Will Race the Magic Mile for the First Time This Weekend
Concord, NC — It’s not often when drivers get to race at their dream tracks. But not only does Glen Reen get to fulfill his lifelong dream of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the New England 100, he will also get to do it against his racing heroes. Ted Christopher and Mike Stefanik are a few of the guys who Reen watched tackle the one-mile oval as he was growing up, and now he’ll get to draft and bang wheels with some of the best in Modified racing.
“I am super excited, to be honest,” said Reen. “We ran shifter karts there for about two years, 80 cc and 125. I remember going there and getting all excited. That’s where the big guys race, and now to actually run on the same weekend with some of the big guys is amazing.”

Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you all know that I have picked up a ride in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race this Satruday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway! I’ll be driving the black #40 owned by the Preece family. Ryan Preece is driving the #3 for the Boehler’s this year and his father wanted to bring their car to Loudon to get some exposure for their sponsors, so I was asked to drive it. It’s a brand new Troyer car with a fresh engine, so we should be ready to take a shot at a podium finish.
Most of you know that Loudon is one of my favorite places to race and I’ve had some good runs there in the past. Here’s a quick rundown of my races there:

Seekonk, MA — Seekonk Speedway has announced that Propane Plus has upped the ante on the Propane Plus 75 for the ARC Pro Stocks. With an extra $2,500 up for the winners share, there won’t be any holding back. Last season, Tom Scully Jr picked up the win on Propane Plus night, and the bragging rights that go along with it. With 2 wins already on the season, the Saunderstown, RI native is one of the favorites to pick up the extra cash. But he will have his hands full as current points leader Fred Astle Jr has already picked up one 75 lap win, and has been on a tear lately, picking up his second checkered flag just this past Saturday.
“We wanted to do something memorable for this event.” stated Propane Plus President Tim Johnson. “I’ve been coming to Seekonk Speedway for a long time, even raced hear for several years with my brother Andy in the Street Stocks and Late Models. The racing has been great this season, and we wanted to ensure this event would be a highlight for the season.”
