Csernak Racing Teams with Billy Pauch Jr. for Gambler’s Classic

Wall Township, NJ — Joe Csernak announced that he will be teaming with Billy Pauch Jr. to have him race the Csernak Racing 8X for the ATQMRA’s 2007 Turkey Derby at Wall Township Speedway and the Gambler’s Classic at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall.

The younger Pauch will be teamed with his Father Billy “the Kid” Pauch for the Gambler’s Classic. The senior Pauch will be driving the Bryant Ingalls 8 Spitfire that was driven by Lew Ingalls during the 2007 ATQMRA outdoor season. This is the same car he raced in the Gambler’s Classic this past January. It is the same type of Spitfire Chassis that Joey Payne Jr. used to win the 07 Gambler’s Classic.

The ATQMRA heads to Wall Friday November 23rd for the 34th Annual Turkey Derby. The younger Pauch spent some time in the lightening fast TQ midgets driving for perennial Champion Don Adams in one of his Badgers a number of years ago. He is looking forward to the Turkey Derby as an opportunity to shake down the Csernak Racing 8X in preparation for the Pauch assault on the tight confines of Boardwalk Hall.

The Csernak 8X is an original Reider Chassis that has been extensively modified to accommodate the current Suzuki GSXR 750 engine and drive train the TQ midgets use by the talented Billy Courtwright in his Hackettstown NJ shop. The Pauch’s will be tapping into the TQ midget expertise of Don Adams for car preparation and TQ midget set-up guru Alan Mollot to set the car up for AC.

Csernak is excited to have such a talented, versatile, high profile driver in his car to close out the 07 season and to begin the 2008 campaign. The car’s previous owner Bob Ottogalli spent a number of years racing against Billy Pauch at East Windsor, Bridgeport and Flemington in the DIRT modified ranks.
