Sherman Brumawn of Moodus, CT won the Modified Lite feature in dominant fashion. “I’m liking it more and more if I keep this up, said the driver of the #36. He also liked the fact that he would have more track time than his fellow competitors. The field consisted of three cars due to a national Dwarf Car race in Florida.
Matt Norrie of W. Suffield, CT captured the 1200 Sprint race in the #16m Day Hill Automotive car.
Fifth caution is out in the 1200cc race at Mototown USA after a spin invlving Brian Berger, Bubba Broderick and Pat Kuerner in turn 3. The 50 of Berfer has damage to the right front and is currently being towed off the track.
The 1200 cc Sprint feature is underway an under its 3rd caution after a spin by the #95 car of Marc Guerard.
William Eggimann of South Hadley, Mass. has won the 750 cc Sprint race at Mototown USA. A lap around the 1/4 mile indoor Windsor, CT facility averages 71.818 MPH.
The next race will be either February 17th or 19th, to be determined, as there is a conflict with the Daytona 500.
