Final Friday Night Shoot-Out at Stafford Speedway Postponed to Friday, September 19th

Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has postponed its Final Friday Night Shoot-Out NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing program due to next Friday night, September 19th due to a forecast of rain and fog. The Final Friday Night Shoot-Out will be the final Friday night event of the 2008 season before Stafford Motor Speedway closes the doors on its 2008 NASCAR season with the 36th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend, scheduled for September 26th through September 28th.

Tickets for the Final Friday Night Shoot-Out are priced at $15.00 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, $18.00 for reserved seats, and free for children ages 5 & under.

The 36th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend will host both the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR Camping World Series with twin 150-lap feature events on tap. NASCAR legend Bobby Allison will also be on hand at Stafford to be honored for his 1964 national modified championship. Stafford will crown its five weekly track champions as well as the 2008 Camping World East Series champion for a total of six championships to be decided during the weekend.

Tickets for the 36th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend are priced at $35.00 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, $38.00 for reserved seats, and free for children ages 5 & under. Tickets for both events are available now and are on sale at the Stafford Motor Speedway Box Office.
