“Text Book” Pass Gives Biffle SYLVANIA 300 Win

Loudon, NH — Greg Biffle made a “text book” late lap pass to capture the SYLVANIA 300, the first race in the “Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.”

“I love this race track and with the old car we ran extremely well here – almost won a couple – top-fives everytime we came, and then when we came with the new car we haven’t run very good until today,” said Biffle. “We finally got onto something that worked here and the race car just drove phenomenal right off the truck. It was really fast. ”

With the win, Biffle moves into third in the Championship standings. Second place finisher Jimmie Johnson and third place finisher Carl Edwards have moved to the top of leader board with 5220 points. Edwards is the “Chase” championship leader by virtue of the tie-breaker.
