Sprint Cup Series Winner Kasey Kahne Headlines “Fan Fest” at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Kasey Kahne, the most recent winner on the NASCAR Sprint Car Series, will headline the free “Fan Fest” at NewHampshire Motor Speedway on Thursday, June 25.

Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Richard Petty Motorsports Budweiser Dodge, will be interviewed by Greg Kretschmar, host of Greg and the Morning Buzz, and Jamie Staton, Sports Director at WMUR/ABC 9.

“Fan Fest” will also feature free grandstand admission for NASCAR Camping World Series East Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying, as well as a great evening of free entertainment.

Performing live throughout the night will be up-and-coming country-rock band Jonathan Scott and the Blazing Hearts, North American County Music Association International’s 2007 “Band of the Year” in new country music. The group from Jaffrey, N.H. features frontman Jonathan Scott. Scott is the NACMAI’s 2007 “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Male Entertainer of the Year.”

“Transaurus” will be doing a preview of Sunday’s pre-race show on Thursday night at “Fan Fest” chewing a car cut in half by the one and only Lee ‘Hackman’ Breton as a part of the LENOX Industrial Tools 2009 World Tour.

Qualifying sessions will begin at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 as the aces of NASCAR Camping World Series East make their pole run for the Heluva Good! 125. At 4:45 p.m., the ground-pounding NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour stars will qualify for the New Hampshire 100. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the “Fan Fest” celebration will end a great opening day at the speedway.

Tickets for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 are on sale now. The new MegaTicket package features three days of racing for $99. The LENOX Speed Zone seating section offers fans a $39 Sunday ticket. With these promotions, fans have the unique opportunity to experience NASCAR racing for approximately 13 cents a lap!
