Paul Tuthill Wins ALNRS at Lee USA

Newburgh, NY — Washingtonville, NY driver Paul Tuthill displayed his own fireworks on July 4 at Lee USA Speedway as he led every lap of the 20 lap feature. The win was Paul’s 4th out of 6 races this season.  Second place went to Millis, MA driver Tommy Barrett who was fresh of his 9th place finish in the North/South Shootout in Rougemont, NC the weekend before.  In 3rd was Taunton, MA driver Shane D’Agostino who had is 4th top 3 finish and 5th top 5 of the season.

The hard charger of the race went to East Haddam, CT driver Eric Bourgeois who started 14th and worked his way through the 15 car field to finish 4th. Rounding out the top 5 was Dighton, MA driver James Logan who ran second to Tuthill all night before being involved in a lap 17 caution. 

The aDP Rivet Rookie of the Year contender was Plainville, CT young gun Peter Portante.  Making her series debut was Northfield, NH driver Nicoal Perreault who came away with a 12th place finish.  The ALNRS will head back to Monadnock Speedway this weekend for their third of six races this season.
