Speedbowl moves Smacktoberfest to Sunday
Waterford, CT — Due to the prevalent and heavy rain forecast for today, Waterford Speedbowl has postponed and moved its Smacktoberfest event ahead to the rain date of tomorrow, Sunday, October 25.
The event will follow the same schedule and timing, with spectator gates opening at 12:00pm and the smashing getting underway at 2:00pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to pick out their seat and avoid lines. Adult tickets are $14, youth age 6 through 14 years of age are just $5 and all kids 5 and under are admitted free.
The Speedbowl offers acres of free parking, making Smacktoberfest an affordable day of fun and mayhem for the whole family.
The event features demo derbies, wild Speedbowl trailer race, speedway bowling, 100 foot spectator drags, and the recent addition – school bus mayhem.
