The Ultimate “Nor’easter” Blows into New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Inaugural Sno Bowl presented by Ski-Doo|BRP Set for February 20-21

One of the most exciting forms of motorized entertainment will be featured as New Hampshire Motor Speedway kicks-off its 20th anniversary season with the ultimate “Nor’easter,” the inaugural Sno Bowl presented by Ski-Doo on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.

The snow-covered grounds of the speedway will be transformed into a winter playground for the riders of Rock Maple Racing who will challenge the tough Sno Bowl oval for two straight days. These snocross stars will be side-by-side and nose-to-tail throughout each event in various classes of competition.

Similar to the popular X-Games extreme format, the weekend will also feature gravity-defying shows by the high-flying riders of Rave X. With incredible stunts, extreme jumps, and “big air” flips on-board the hottest snowmobiles anywhere, Rave X is always a crowd favorite.

Participants and guests alike will battle for “bragging rights” during the “Radar Runs” to determine who has the fastest snowmobile and the need for speed during this sizzling winter weekend.

“This will be to snowmobile enthusiasts what last weekend’s Winter Classic at Fenway was to hockey fans,” said Jerry Gappens, the executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “We are opening the largest sports and entertainment venue in New England for a special, one-weekend winter event for this popular form of motorsports. It is also gratifying to partner with the marquee manufacturer of snowmobiling, Ski-Doo, as our presenting sponsor of this inaugural event.”

In addition on competition, the Sno Bowl will feature a winter carnival-like atmosphere with industry-related displays, retail outlets, demonstration rides, concessions and more.
