Seekonk Speedway to Try Round Two on Saturday, April 24

Seekonk, MA — With a strong forecast of rain, management was forced to postpone the second scheduled open practice n Saturday, April 17th. The rescheduled date for the practice session is on Saturday, April 24th. It will follow the same format as the first practice session, as any safe race car is welcome for time on the 1/3 mile oval.

The extra week is a blessing for many of the competitors, as they could use the extra week to complete their rides for the upcoming season. Other competitors were eager to make sure the changes they made form the opening practice put them in the right direction. Over 125 competitors took advantage of the first open practice to help sial in their cars. Competitors from NEMA, Modified Racing Series, Pro4, ISMA, STAR, NEAR, PASS, ACT and more are welcome to join the ARC competitors to get ready for their upcoming season.

There is one more scheduled practice on the schedule before out 2010 Opening Day, It will be held on Saturday, May 1st, and is open for Seekonk Speedway competitors only. This will be their last chance to get ready for the 65th season opener. There will be a limited amount of practice on opening day for all competitors.
